Kelly’s Role at POP
As POP’s Senior User Experience Strategist, Kelly combines her expertise in user interface design, information architecture, content writing and HTML coding to deliver an inspiring, intuitive online experience for patrons. She is passionate about creating a positive impact through great websites, email, and online experiences.
Kelly’s History in Arts Marketing
Kelly has seen it all. Working on the Web since its humble beginnings, her first performing arts site was for the Seattle Opera in 2001. Kelly works hard to make complex web pages simple and assists her clients on all aspects of email marketing — from sending mail to keeping them up-to-date with the latest industry info.
“My job is to ensure each site we create is intuitive on all levels — to guarantee an extraordinary user experience.”
Why Kelly is Excited to be a Part of POP
“We are all united by our passion for the Web and our respect for each other’s talents and ideas. With our desire to learn and continually grow, each website becomes better than the last.”
Why the Arts are Important to Kelly
“Some of my best memories are connected with the arts — from seeing “Pippi Longstocking” at the Children’s Theatre Company and “Carmen” at the Minnesota Opera to Andy Warhol at the Art Institute of Chicago. These experiences shaped who I am. And now, I get to watch my daughter experience the same thrill.”
