Brad Holst, Creative Director

Brad Holst, Creative Director

Brad’s Role at POP

As Creative Director, Brad’s time is balanced between client interaction and leading his team of designers. His leadership role involves all aspects of an arts project — from conception through the discovery phase, into design and finally production. Brad has provided creative direction for hundreds of sites and is particularly adept at helping clients translate their brands online.

Brad’s History in Arts Marketing

Brad’s first performing arts site was the Seattle Opera over eight years ago, which has since undergone three iterations. His experience has grown from the online brochure-type sites of the early days of the Web, to the highly complex sites of today which push technology for Web-savvy patrons and include more community-based elements such as blogs to help users communicate more closely with organizations.

Brad’s work has been recognized in the Print Design Annual, Print Interactive Annual, Communication Arts Site of the Week, Graphis Design Annual and The Seattle Show.

“We never settle. We’re always looking for opportunities to innovate and deliver a better experience to users.”

Why Brad is Excited to be a Part of POP

“Growing up hearing about these performing arts icons — such as The Met and the Royal Opera House — it’s amazing to get the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with them on a daily basis, and better yet, to help them grow their businesses.”

Why the Arts are Important to Brad

“I truly believe that it is through art that we advance our culture — by thinking creatively, and looking at the world in a new way.”
