Getting The Most Out Of Your HTML
One of the most important things you can do when planning and designing your email is to put yourself in your readers’ shoes. Your reader’s inbox is becoming more and more crowded, so you only have a few seconds for a reader to decide if your email has anything to offer them. Catch your reader’s attention quickly with a compelling subject line, engaging images, and quick-to-read content. Know your audiences before you begin the design process. What do they want to know about? What email client do they use and how do they view your email? Are there clear calls to action to drive them online? For firsthand information, ask some of your constituents for feedback on a regular basis or conduct an online survey on your email program. You’ll find no shortage of opinions.
